Ashdown Forest is the largest public access site (2,500 hectares) in the South East. It is the heart of the High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB).
Ideal for walking, picnics, and just relaxing, with great views towards the South Downs.
Largely because of its heathland and associated flora and fauna, Ashdown Forest has attracted both UK and EU conservation designations.
